La Salle Green Hills is an institution that believes in the use of varied instructional methodologies and strategies which will foster the pupils’ learning. One of the ways by which the Mathematics Department caters and adheres to this ideal is the annual Math Week.

Objectives:

1. To enjoy and develop the love for mathematics
2. To see the practical use of math in the  daily life
3. To apply the knowledge in higher order thinking skills from the classroom to real-life situations
4. To challenge the pupils to do their best in math

The Math Week is scheduled on January 11-15, 2010 with the theme “Rising Above the Challenges of the 21st Century through Mathematics.”
